Practical Australian actions
Every living page on the rebuilt site
A human-readable map of hubs, guides and utility pages. The machine sitemap lives at /sitemap.xml.
At a glance
Each guide is written to be cited and is listed on /blog/.
Scope, form and policy pages.
Search engines should use the XML map.
Home / Sitemap
This HTML sitemap exists so a person can see the rebuilt information architecture without opening a search console. It is not a dump of parking URLs. The XML equivalent is generated from the same Keystatic collections.
Answer first
Use the hubs if you want a topic. Use /blog/ if you want the long guides. Use /contact/ if a listing is wrong. Use /sitemap.xml if you are a crawler.
Primary hubs
- Home — editorial homepage
- Home actions — order of operations for a dwelling
- Energy — fabric, labels, NatHERS, hot water
- Water — WELS, leaks, lawful reuse
- Waste and recycling — local bins, food, problem items
- Gardens — soil, plants, water, chemicals
- Community — shared tools and projects
- Schools — campus actions and curriculum
- Events — planning notes, not a calendar
- Guides index
Utility pages
Guides
The live guide list is generated on the blog index. Titles there are the source of truth so this paragraph does not drift. Typical slugs cover draughts, insulation, hot water, indoor water, rainwater and greywater, recycling and food waste, waterwise gardens, school projects, community projects, and first household steps.
Heritage behaviour
/index.php, /news-items.php, /gallery.php, /sitemap.php, /privacy.html, /terms.html, /category.php and expired festival paths are not listed as content because they are exact-match redirects. /events/ remains listed because it now holds living planning text.
Unknown addresses are not listed and should not be invented by a pattern redirect. They return the 404 page, which still carries the footer disclaimer.
If a guide is published after you print this page, trust /blog/ and /sitemap.xml over a paper copy.
How to read this map
Start on the homepage if you do not yet know whether energy, water or waste is the binding constraint. Use a hub when you know the topic and need the official names. Use a guide when you need a briefing for a tradesperson, a landlord, a business manager or a committee. Use FAQ when you need a sentence you can quote. Use contact when a citation has moved.
Redirected PHP and parking paths are intentionally absent. They are listed in docs/URL_MAP.md for reviewers, not for readers. Unknown paths are also absent: they 404 with the same footer disclaimer as this page.
The XML sitemap is the crawler contract. This HTML page is the human one. If they ever disagree, fix the Keystatic collections and rebuild — do not edit a private list in a sidebar.
