Green Living Days 2007

The Canberra Environment Centre ran a series of community 'green living days' to foster and support more sustainable resource management in urban and semi-urban environments in 2007. The series was made up of workshops, in the form of demonstrations, information sessions and hands-on practical programs.

Topics covered included:

Alternative technologies for water management
Biodiversity audits
Encouraging biodiversity through native vegetation
Permaculture gardening
Exclusion and inclusion zones for vegetation management
Noxious weed control
Soils management and rehabilitation

The Centre would like to thank everyone who contributed to the successful Green Living Days workshop series in 2007.
