Resources for schools

Teaching resources

The Centre can develop teaching resources to support curriculum development in specific environment-related areas such as:

  • Waste
  • Water resources
  • Bio diversity
  • The urban environment
  • Ecological footprints

School incursions

We have a network of experts in a number of fields who can provide guest lectures and workshops for schools on-site or in the field.  To cover costs we charge $5 per student and can visit any school in the Centre's catchment region for anything from an hour to a day.

Environmental projects

Planning and educational support for environmental projects in and around your school or neighbourhood.  For example:

  • Vermiculture
  • Waterwise gardens
  • Animal habitat
  • Waste minimisation
